Cockles (Kuti)
Cockles (Kuti)
Cockles have been a staple food for Ngarrindjeri people for thousands of years. When my Nan was growing up on the mission, one of the things she loved doing was shuffling her feet in the sand to find kuti (cockles) to eat.
This original artwork is painted with acrylic on canvas that has been hand stretched and is framed in a Tasmanian oak timber floating frame. It includes hanging wire and wall bumpers so your artwork is ready to hang, no assembly required.
