Cockles (Kuti) Candle
Cockles (Kuti) Candle
BANKSIA & LEMON MYRTLE
This candle blends the warm, earthy notes of banksia with the bright, refreshing scent of lemon myrtle. The banksia offers a rich, woody aroma that evokes the Australian bush, while lemon myrtle adds a zesty, uplifting citrus twist. Together, they create a harmonious and invigorating fragrance, perfect for enhancing any space with a touch of nature’s essence.
This hand crafted soy candle has been hand poured in the Barossa Valley on Ngadjuri country in South Australia.
The label and box are designed with a print of the original artwork ‘Cockles (Kuti). Cockles have been a staple food for Ngarrindjeri people for thousands of years. When my Nan was growing up on the mission, one of the things she loved doing was shuffling her feet in the sand to find kuti (cockles) to eat.
