Cockles on the Coorong (Kuti on the Kurrangk)

Cockles have been a staple food for Ngarrindjeri people for thousands of years. When my Nan was growing up on the mission, one of the things she liked doing was shuffling her feet in the sand to find kuti (cockles) to eat. This represents the waters of the Coorong (Kurrangk) flowing between the cockles (kuti).

Prints on paper are printed on smooth cotton rag 310gsm. They are archival quality and will not fade for 100+ years. Paper prints can come unframed or placed in a white or pine coloured frame, ready to hang.
