Weaving (Lakun) in Raw Sienna
Weaving (Lakun) in Raw Sienna
Ngarrindjeri people weave to make resources such as baskets, fish nets, fish traps and mats. While they sit and weave, they are sharing stories, bringing people together. They are connecting on different levels and teaching younger generations about Creation, connection to the environment, to family, kinship, language and to our ancestors.
Prints on paper are printed on smooth cotton rag 310gsm. They are archival quality and will not fade for 100+ years. Paper prints can come unframed or placed in a white, black or pine coloured frame, ready to hang.
